Ted,

my only up close experience with haggis was in culinary school when i
was doing my internship rotation at a hotel banquet department. we did
a party for ~350 people who were members of a Robert Burns Society. i
had the misfortune of doing my section of the rotation as a banquet
waiter, so i had to carry large platters of haggis to tables full of
drunken men in kilts (who really should have done something to cover
those knobby knees!).
at least the poetry reading, dancing, and music were interesting.

i doubt if any quantity of El Grande could have remedied those vile,
offal-stuffed animal casings.
