[CH] chiles in a roast

My sister gave me a printout of a foodtv recipe for pulled smoked pork.
What caught my eye was the use of pickled jalapenos, inserted into the meat
the day before. I've often done that with garlic, but never with chiles.
Now I want some fresh tepins...
