christmas dinner, should be a hot day so going for light, well,
light -ish, need to appease the traditional 'roast in the middle of summer'
family members anyway
fresh mussels with chillie and lime butter
crayfish (lobster) with spanish chocolate sauce - i up both the cocoa and
chillies weeeeyheeeeey..actually anyone have recipes for the sauce,i'm not
entiiiirely happy with mine, have tasted better.would appreciate yours..
and i'm tossing up between a roast chicken and a roast pork loin,
thinking the pork, prob done with a chilli citrus glaze/rub type
thing(technical lol),honey chillies lime kaffir lime leaves.
instead of traditional roast vegies going for this great little avocado
salad, sooo easy soooo tasty you just chop up a few avocadoes to chunks, dump
a few handfuls of blanched almonds on a tray with some olive oil grill em
till they're golden brown then throw in your fav hot chilli powder salt
pepper mix it all up and throw the almonds on top pf the avocado in a salad
bowl, everyone loves it,even those without the love of the heat, the avocado
hits it straight away so it just comes in little bursts ,and the
almond/avocado/chilli flavour mix is great
