I just got some shrimp from home today. I wanted to do soething and this is what came out. hope that everyone will enjoy. Harold 1 small onion 1 cup chopped celery 2tbs Cajun Seasonings (adjust for salt I used my Thunder Struck that is 35% salt some others are as much as 65% so watch and adjust) 1/2 cup chopped bell pepper 1 8-ounce can button mushrooms 6 tablespoons melted butter(unsalted) 6 tablespoons flour 1 1/4 cups milk 3 tablespoons diced pimento 3 tablespoons sliced almonds 6 drops of a hab sauce (heat around 8 can use something milder) 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese 1/4 pound Velveeta cheese 1 pound 16-20 shrimp baked Puff Pastry Shells Sauté onion, celery, bell pepper,cajun seasonings and mushrooms in butter. Cook until wilted, but not brown. Slowly add flour followed by milk, stirring to make a white sauce. Add other ingredients, except shrimp. Cook, uncovered, until cheese is melted. Add shrimp five minutes before serving. Serve over rice or in baked Puff Pastry Shells.
