The Red Savinas I grew this year were very, very hot, in my opinion. If I broke one in half, and licked the inside, with the tip of my tongue, it was almost unbearable, and it would last 15-20 minutes. I would imagine that it would be possible to put someone into shock, if they ate a whole pepper. Comparing regular orange habs, to RS, the RS IS hotter.
