Yep, Billy is a veggie only eater. Found this out just the other day when searching for his Jalapeno seeds. Last year I did not have time to start all my chiles from seed, so, thinking I could find Jalapeno most anywhere I skipped them. Bought several flats at Walmart then planted a nice long row. They were coming along nicely but I noticed sever things. They were not as large and full as most I have grown and they never got any lacing on the ripen fruit. When the first picking of the red fruit was smoked there were a few left over that did not fit in the smoker. My wife used them in a salad (or so I thought). As we eat lunch I asked her why she did not use the Jalapenos in the salad. She stated that she did! Sure enough, there they were, NO HEAT Jalapenos. What a sinking feeling! A whole row of wasted space in the garden. A lot of wasted time and money too. As several have mentioned the Bill's Jalapenos were nice and hot I was trying to find a source. Found out also that they are not his chiles after all. That is he did not develop them or have his own stash of extra hot Jalapeno seeds. The seed company (I forgot the name) named a variety that they had after him. His web site is more about HD bikes than chiles too. Maybe I should get a Harley and grow a beard so some seed company will name a Habanero after ME, "Uncle Steve's Harley Habs"! Enjoy the heat, Uncle Steve ~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~ Uncle Steve's HOT Stuff Anything & Everything about Chiles http://usHOTstuff.com/ ~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~
