Sorry to say Erich.. but the "H" is silent when pronouncing it correctly.
Apparently, you've heard it pronounced half right, or half wrong.. or
partially correct.. or.. well.. whatever.

Phonetically, it should sound like " Ah-bah-ner-oh"... more or less.
