It was -9°F last night here in my frigid, desert area of Missouri. Really thankful for my overwintering Rocotos. As a size reference my pen knife is 10 1/2" opened.

Today I received seeds from a German pod-head (A. R. Madillo) consisting of 7 kinds of C. baccatum and C. pubescens for me to grow next year. Add those to the 32 unnamed C. pubescens from a fellow C-H from Maine (Paul) and I'm going to have an interesting garden next year. It's going to have over 50 varieties.
