Hey Helen, Glad you liked the peppadews, I have enjoyed them for years, even though they are not very hot. There is supposed to be a hot variety, but I have never found them. They were supposedly "discovered" in South Africa by a guy named Stoney, and they are marketed in the original jars as Stoney's peppadews. He claims to have a patent on the peppers, but I have seen a lot of discussion on whether or not they are just plain old cherry peppers. He does put them in a nice sauce, though.
