Checked out the habs at Albertsons tonight and was elated. They are the nicest pods I have ever seen at the store - big and firm and fresh. I usually only get about a week's worth at a time and use them before they spoil, but this time got three times that many. Anyone have a secret for keeping them fresh for a long time? And, on a gardening note, today saw the first seeding appear, after only five days. A datil, and still three varieties of habs and the chiltepins to come.
