Just another data point in the heat pad area... my starter tray is long and skinny in shape (I think it's 3 cells tall by 12 cells wide) and my heat source was really only capable of warming up about the middle 1/2 of it. The seeds that were directly in the center of this are at least a WEEK ahead of the rest of the seeds... and the cells at the very end of the tray haven't sprouted at all. Next year I'm gonna make sure I have plenty of heat! So far I have pepperoncini's, red savs, francisicas, jalapeņos, and pasilas... and just a few days ago one of the tepins poked it's head out of the potting soil. It ought to be a spicy summer! ----- Original Message ----- From: "CES" <ces@preferred.com> To: "Chile-Heads" <chile-heads@globalgarden.com> Sent: Friday, February 21, 2003 8:15 AM Subject: [CH] Started some seeds > Got a few seeds going yesterday.
