Not very hot, but one of the best nights that I spent in Chicago was at Buddy Guy's bar, Legends. The band was fantastic, the beer was cold, and Buddy Guy was there. I bought him a "Buddy Beer" (Heineken and a pint of ice) and he signed a t-shirt for me. The 75th floor of the John Hancock building has a very swank bar, but you can only afford to stay for one drink - still, the views make up for the $8 bottle of Budweiser. Have fun. Hi flellow pod heads, Cornell is part of the Association of College Unions International and our annual conference will be held in Chicago this year. I will be there from Sunday, March 2nd and will be leaving Thursday, March 6th. We will be at the Chicago Hilton and Towers on Michigan Ave. Anyone from the area that wants to try to meet? Any restaurant recommendations? Anything not to miss? I have never been to Chicago so any leads or recommendations would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Linda *-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*- Linda Reynolds Building Services Manager 401 Willard Straight Hall Cornell University Ithaca, NY 14853 (607) 255-0620
