Is Topolobompo (sp?) still open / owned by Bayless? I have never eaten at
either of the two restaurants.

Rick Bayless' cookbooks are the most consistent that I have ever used.
Everything I have ever made from one of his books has been superb. They are
full of useful information and many of the recipes have fantastic variations
and substitutions. I recently made some tacos using one of his recipes - it
called for searing a pound of bistec, a white onion, and 24 whole serranos
in some hot oil on a comal. It was tremendous - and hot enough to get your
attention. Standard disclaimers....

Matt

Linda -
Go to the Frontera Grill. Rick Bayless (has cooking show on PBS) owns it.
Had wonderful meals there. Outstanding margaritas! There's also a House of
Blues there that's fun. The art museum is fantastic as well. Enjoy your
trip! Helen
