That's terrible.  We have 3 of the Horrible Beasts ourselves & they LOVE
pepper plants.  Dan actually spent a weekend making cat proof seed boxes.
He went to the local wine shop & bought several wooden wine bottle boxes.
Then he made a frame to fit around the top, stapled it together, added some
wire 1/4" wire mesh, hinges & a hook thingie.  Presto - cat proof seed
boxes.  They're beautiful.  We'll let you know how well they actually work!
