Hi. Maybe someone can help me out, since this is the place! I am in search for a SPECIFIC Chile Cheeseburger recipe. On FoodNation with Bobby Flay, last year, he did a show centered in New Mexico. He went to a specific restaurant that was famous for Green Chile Cheeseburgers. I thought I saved the recipe and cannot find it for the life of me. I went to their website and came up empty. They only had a recipe from Sara Moulton that she got from Gourmet Magazine. I searched Google and all I came up with was the same recipe, plastered everywhere. That and comments about famous Southwestern restaurants that serve Green Chile Cheeseburgers. I remember the segment - he went into the kitchen of this little place. They made a burger, did not stuff it with anything. It was not seasoned in anyway that I can remember (and I have a fabulous memory - ask my sister - I amaze her all the time with the things I remember from childhood). They put green chile on top, smothered it in cheese and then topped it with the rest of the bun. When you bit into it, the whole thing fell apart - the meat mixed with the green chile and the cheese and it looked so good. The recipe that is on the web is a recipe where you put some ingredients in with the ground sirloin, then you roast green chiles and then you make a sauce with it. You top the burger with the sauce and cheese and there you have it. This is NOT what I want. It is too complex for what I want to do tonight. Now is too late to actually make them but I want the recipe for the next time I get the urge for burgers. If anyone has the SPECIFIC recipe I am looking for, please pass it on. Thanks. Do not send me the recipe with the 1.5 lb of sirloin and the anaheim chiles that are roasted. This is NOT what I want. I just want that recipe, nothing else. Anyway, thanks for the help searching for this recipe. It is driving me nuts. Thanks, RisaG __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
