Hi there Chile Heads. Teaching Granny to suck eggs or not, I just have to
share this with you. A hot day here in the Old Country and I felt like a
cooler. So much to my wifes bemusement I blended a helping of nice fat juicy
strawberries with a few, li'l hot chiles and spread them on bread and
butter. Gorgeous! Nothing like it! Sadly my wife declined to share in my
culinary dream.
She has started calling me a chile head. Wonder why? It might be because I
no longer have the traditional Bacon Butties that have been my delight from
childhood. Now I spread the bacn with brown sauce and a liberal layer of red
hot chile, topped with a lightly fried duck egg. Oooh, it really sets me up
