I agree completely Ron.  We had a very similar experience with Biker Billy's
a couple of years ago.  Once stressed, they did much better (I find that
with all peppers, but the Biker Billy really responded quickly to harsh
conditions).  They are also the largest Jalapenos we've grown. They were
about twice the size of the traditional variety we had growing at the same
time.

Heat wise, they DO get hot.. but you have to be patient. Wait until they
start to turn red. It's not easy waiting.. but it's worth it. If a regular
jalapeno comes in at a 5 on the heat scale, a Biker Billy (IMHO) would come
in at about a good 7.

Burpee sells the seeds.. I don't know if Billy has a deal with them, but it
seems that way.
