Don't feel too badly! A guy I sent seeds to in Fountain, FL sent me this
note on 3-31:

What a mistake I made. I got a little overzealous and planted the USDA
peppers too early. Unfortunately the frost has taken out most of the
peppers, so I was wondering if it would be possible for you to send me
another batch of seeds. I cant believe I lost them this early to such a
silly mistake, but I guess that's life! Please let me know if you need me to
cover the postage and I will get that to you ASAP. Some of them have
survived the frost so they should make for some interesting observations. If
you have any left my address is:

One year I can set out plants in mid-May & the next it's the end of June, go
figure!
