I must have missed the original post, and I have never heard of a Kolache
Factory, but I checked out the web site. These look exactly like the
steamed or baked buns one gets when out for dim sum.
Truly one of my favorite foods on the planet are the baked pork buns from
the Eastern Bakery in Chinatown in San Francisco (corner of Grant and
Commercial). Once, when we were living south of Los Angeles, my wife and I
drove up to SF just to get buns -- about 6 hours each way.
