Planted my 50 babies in the gardens today.
I had wanted to wait until the beds dried
out a little but the forecast and their rapid
progress to becoming root bound meant today was
the day.
I kept the ceiling fan in the "nursery" room
running and that really helped strenghten the
stems. I did not get around to hardening them off
sunlight-wise so I suspended a floating row cover
to give them a little help. I know they transmit
most of the light, but I just wanted to take the
edge off the ones in the garden where the strongest
light hits.
Also some herbs and 3 tomato plants. Still
looking for mexican oregano.
