Hi there C-H'ers. Have quite a good number of plants almost ready for transferring to bigger pots and putting outside. Been hardening them off with short periods out in the sun. Hopefully the weather will stay fairly stable and allow them to settle down outside. Have mixed Banana skin,(well minced up), with Tea Leaves and well rotted Leaf from last Fall. This has been added to some very good Compost and allowed to get sort of bonded together. Hoping that this will be a good base for when I put the plants into Gallon Pots. How am I doing up to now? Have Cayenne. Aji Brown. Habanero. Scotch Bonnet. Jalapeno. Lantern (an ornamental) Fresno and a Semi Hot/Sweet Dedo de Mocha. These are all ready to go. Have Red Jalapeno. Yellow Jalapeno. Serano and Rocoto still hiding in their pots waiting to show through. Looks like being a great year. if I get this compost mix right first time. Walt. An old chile-head from the old country.
