I'll check into the price of boxes. Shouldn't be more than a couple of bucks apiece, if that. "Standard" fruit boxes are waxed, ventilated, and hold about 20 lbs each. I'll have some Savina in the open field, but I don't know if it would be enough to support the event and your needs. How much do you think you'll need? What has been a 'typical' amount for you guys?
Anybody attending open fields have a problem with doing some picking for a good cause?
I'm also assuming that the quote you gave me was for overnight or at the very least, 2nd day air. They wouldn't survive a trip via ground transport.
