I picked up this recipe last year in Lincoln County, Kentucky, Has turned into one of our favorites. 2 lbs ground beef 3 Tbsp. oil 1 c. chopped onions 1 clove garlic minced 2 tsp. paprika 1 tsp. black pepper 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. dry mustard dash of cayenne pepper (well... you might add some heat to the Kentucky version ;-) 3 Tbsp. vinegar 3 Tbsp. sugar 3 Tbsp. worchestershire sauce 1 (6. oz) can tomato paste Cook onion and garlic in oil until soft, but not brown. Add remaing ingredients (a part from beef) and let simmer with lid on for 20 minutes on very low heat. Brown beef in separate pot and add to sauce incl. liqiuids. Let simmer below lid for another 10-20 minutes. Enjoy! Henning Petersen **************************** Copenhagen, Denmark http://www.chilihouse.dk ****************************
