Hmmm, "moderate hotluck"? A bbq? Most definitely an oxymoron. (Sandy &
Erich--my non-CH friends wouldn't call me moderate, but as far as this list
is concerned, yup! ;-) )

Just ran across this article, on topic re: moderates and hellfire. Recently
new members might be interested to know that some on this list have tried
police pepper spray as a seasoning, and were fairly critical, preferring
Backdraft and the ilk iirc. This truly amazed me. Can't recall names right
now--a Doug Irvine moment, perhaps? (Sorry Doug!) Seriously though. Think
about it. Scott (KCK) thinks he's "relatively" moderate, only dipping THE
BREAD in BACKDRAFT occasionally, on a dare! Moderation, then, really is a
matter of perspective.

At any rate, one promising result for moderates is: "But the new results
could hold promise for sufferers of oral conditions such as Burning Mouth
Syndrome. The authors suggest that modification of PIP2 binding--perhaps by
genetic, biochemical or pharmacological means--could make mouth nerves much
less receptive, and thus ease the burn." In other words moderates can look
forward to genetic modification to increase their tolerance. Interested
Scott? ;-)
