As far as I know, the Japanese are quite "protective" about Wasabi. Wasabi
is grown only in the parts around Kobe (as I remember).

But I've read somewhere that someone has trieb to grow ist somewhere else.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, as I am intrested as well in some seeds or
plants.
