Hi All I notice a few posts from people getting discouraged by less than good spring weather. Last spring we had an El Nino effect which gave me a cold windy wet spring. My Chile plants looked very sad for along time. Once the summer got going they grew well and finished up as good as ever. The 3 year old Rocotos on the back fence got knocked about so bad with the wind I almost ripped them up. Yet now they are as healthy as ever and covered with young second fruit set. So do not despair good people. Our chosen plants have survived a long time and the only thing is that mine have a problem setting fruit at nights cooler than 10° C (50°F) then blossom drop occurs.
