Hi there CH's. Don't laugh, but the other day I got tangled up in my mates seat belt, getting out of the car. Fell rather heavilly in the road, landing in a very undignified way on my knees. Ouch! Having trouble now with pain, etc. Last night I had had enough, so I dug out one of my precious Habaneros, put on a rubber glove and tore the Hab into pieces. Rubbed it into my knees really hard until I was left with only the skin. (of the Hab). I was sure it would burn, but no, I felt only a warm tingling. But I didn't get the relief I was after. Maybe I needed an oil base or something to enable the Capsaicin to penetrate? I would have been better off spreading that Hab on a slice of toast and eating it. Anyone got any facts that might make applying Habs for pain a bit more productive? I could sure do with some sound advice on those lines. Hottest regards to one and all. Walt. CH#2218.
