Hi Gary. Seems to me you know more about Kingston Upon Hull than you let on. Yes? But you are right about the 'emergency pack' I read so many accounts of List Members taking their tiny Pepper Shakers (I thought you all American (and Canadian) Guy's and Gal's did things bigger than that) with them to the Hamburger Joint, that I took a leaf from their book and always take a large pot of my home made 'Hab Sauce' with me wherever I go. It has saved me from culinary disasters many times. Must tell you this. Was invited to a BBQ. Took my Hab Sauce with me just in case. A man sat watching me slap it all over the Chicken leg I was eating. "Looks good" he said. So I said "would you like to try some?" He said, "It looks quite mild from your expression ". I nodded and he helped himself from my large pot. Oh dear. He took one bite and boy, off he shot, like a rocket gasping for water. Maybe I should have just took a small Pepper Shaker filled with powdered Tepin. Must be a moral there somewhere. Hottest regards to y'all. Walt. CH#2218. An old Chile-Head from the old country. From: "Gary Bellinger" <yesgaz@itcanada.com> > My condolences Walt. What would either type of salsa be doing in Kingston upon Hull? But this sorry story should be a great note to all of us Immoderates. Never leave home without your emergency pack of Hot sauces! You never know when a false alarm might set off the need for these spicy saviours of capsaicin heaven. Let this be a warning to all of us!
