Dan & Helen, My suggestion is "pots"... It's a bit late to put seedlings in ground, with only "90" days *MAX* left in our growing season. I plant everything after July 4th in 5 gal. pails so when Mother Nature gives us a "killing frost" the end of Sept. or early Oct. I can move them indoors to ripen. Have "*LOTS*" of pails set up for this & would be happy to help you out, if you want. Hopefully the Peter Peppers haven't had a "down" turn?
