This is the seasoning mix I made for it, it is normally part of the Prudhomme's Texas Red Chili recipe, but I had this extra so used it in a modified version of a black bean soup recipe. This is awesome. 1 tablespoon salt 1 tablespoon ground guajillo pepper 1 tablespoon ground arbol pepper 2 teaspoons dried sweet basil 1 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder 1 teaspoon onion powder 1 teaspoon hot paprika 1 teaspoon black pepper 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper 1 teaspoon ground cumin 1 teaspoon dry mustard 1 teaspoon dried thyme leaves 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon This makes a great blackened seasoning mix too...
