Fellow pod growers: Just to pass on a bargin I found at our local Odds n' Ends store (not sure if they are connected at all with Big Lots/Odd Lots type stores). A 5oz (what I consider purse size) plastic squeeze bottle of SAMBAL Tropical Chili Sauce-Salsa Picante by ABC International Inc. in Playa Del Ray Ca. Fresh Chili (sic), water, sugar, salt, garlic, vinegar, starch, sodium benzonate. It basically tastes like the Chile Garlic Sauce from Huy Fong in the Rooster bottle, just a tad sweeter but a nice heat. This bottle is .69 so I bought only one but when I tasted it, went back and bought 8! One for the neighbor, one for work, a few for home and rest for the Y2K box......... Garden details: Finally got the garden tilled and planted. I was even able to find a few of the more exotic peppers that have been mentioned here such as Thai Hot and Pretty in Purples to plant, along with Habs, Super Chile, Jalapeno, Cayenne. Of course, there are a few sweet peppers and a few other veggies but only after determining what space I would have left over! Looking forward to salsa, fresh peppers and a nice mix to dry and grind! Here's wishing all a wonderful growing season (for those in this part of the world that are having summer). Linda in Upstate NY
