[CH] Iowa / midwest hotluck

I just wanted to remind everyone about the hotluck we (Sandy Olson and
I) are having here in not-so-sunny Ames Iowa. The date is Sunday,
August 22 1-???. It will be at my home, here in Ames (314 Garden Road).
Getting here is pretty easy. From I-35 take exit 111B (the US hwy 30
westbound exit) -- the sign says Iowa State University. From US30, take
the second exit, marked hwy 69 / Duff Ave. Take a left there so you're
heading south. Keep going south until the road narrows back down to
two lanes. Garden Road is the first left turn once you are on two
lanes. We are the second house on the right in the second block. I
believe my address shows up on most of the web maps too. I'll post the
directions again closer to the 22nd.
Bring good stuff to eat, your appetite, and a lawn chair to sit in. If
the weather cooperates, we'll be in the backyard. We hope to see lots
of midwest c-h's (and anybody else who is crazy enough to want to come
to Iowa in August!)
