If they are indeed mud daubers - they won't bother you - I've never had one to sting me and we have them all over the farm, barns, shed, ect. They use spiders to put in they're nests for their young ones to feed off of before they break out. So, sort of keep you from hurting yourself after you see a spider run across your hand in the garden - they eat the spiders - alot of spiders. They just want to eat some spiders, I'd leave them alone. They are mud daubers aren't they - if they aren't nothing I told you applies - :) !! Steve - SC
