I've been following this quite a bit and conversing at length with Byron
off list.

I haven't seen that anyone has suggested the use of raw tobacco
products. All of the sources state that the TMV can be destroyed (and
we went to some length to define 'destroyed') by boiling.

Assuring that the mixture has been heated sufficiently and combined with
the other ingredients, in all contacted 'experts' opinions, it appears
to be as safe as anything else. I still would not choose to use it but
I am rather superstitious ;-)

The only fault I had was in the associative method that was suggested
concerning 'if any ones smoked & had TMV please contact me'. I stated
as that one could as well as for replies to the query 'anyone eating
garlic and has been bitten by a vampire contact me'. A lack of negative
responses does not validate the postulate.

We ALL agree that raw tobacco is not good. Evidence suggests that some
effective methods of pest control can be made with boiled tobacco and
surfactants.

To each their own & let's leave it at that :-) You guys are gonna break
me if I've got to make yet another bread offer to keep the peace :-)

-Jim C who's left wondering if he is reinforcing the wrong behaviour :-)
