hi! i need a great big huge shoulder to cry on! my first outdoor not in a container in the windowsill garden was devastated this afternoon. this morning it was fine. decided i needed to stake the tomatoes. when i got back from giving some extra pepper plants to by brother (aren't too nice) my garden was missing. something ate all of my parsley, heirloom tomatoes and cilantro( all grown from seed of course). :( :( :( the only bright note in this day is that my pepper plants were untouched. i just received from cross country nursery some datils, mirasols, and devils tongues that hadn't been planted but were on the patio. beautiful plants- the only reason i haven't quite lost it. i just finished watering the plants with a very very strong solution of hot pepper water and placing a few moth balls around the perimeter. my grand parents were farmers from poland before they moved to the us to avoid ww2. my grandmother always put eggshells and coffee grounds in her garden. she had the best garden. now i know why and i can say that it really works. thanks for listening to me- i am really upset. i hear fox urine keeps ground hogs away. cheryl _______________________________________________________________ Get Free Email and Do More On The Web.
