OK, so I'm confused. Never ever happened before, but... I guess I need a lesson in animal identification. What we call groundhogs (aka woodchucks) here are 18 to 24 inches long, make their homes in 2-3 foot deep burrows, but they eat from the surface. What you are saying about pulling a plant into the ground sounds like a gopher (or Bugs in Elmer's carrot patch). Help me out, OK? Regards, JC the Other
