hi CH's while trying to find out more about fruit set/fruit ripening on peppers, I came across these sites http://www.gov.on.ca/OMAFRA/english/crops/facts/pepper.htm http://www.gov.on.ca/OMAFRA/english/crops/facts/91-047.htm mind you on this last site, in their definition of said chili pepper, and I quote "Chili peppers are very thin-walled fruits and used mainly to impart flavour since they are too hot to be eaten alone" So does this mean a). we should not be eating them because they're just to hot for us to handle? or b).Eat them with a freind?? and also on Recommendations for Maintaning Postharvest Quality. http://www.vric.ucdavis.edu/selectnewtopic.bellpepph.htm I would like to do a consensus on fruit ripening, mainly with the longer season varieties such as Habs etc In different climates. So how do yours ripen? If you think this may take up too much list space please email direct "may all your fruits be ripened" ..........wing..........
