CamKeeper, I had posted earlier that I had "volunteer" plants from the seeds I threw on the garden after capon-ing dried chiles prior to grinding. The volunteers created a kind of chile- pepper-seedling-leaf lawn, they came in so densely. Since my raised beds ARE my compost heap, I'm not surprised at your result. Mine are mostly Anchos which have earned separate quarters in the hope (mine) that I can get a seed pod or two from these rugged specimens. Gareth the ChileKnight "the" is such a great middle name, Right Tony, Smokey, Jack, Elder?
