[CH] seed treatment

I am trying to find a lot of info on seed borne disease I found this
site. If you read it closely there is a method of treating seeds with
vineagar. I have never seen this anywhere before, Anyone have ideas
on this ?

If it would work, it would be one of the easiest and safest for the
homegrower

My gut feel is I don't really think it would work.
But I can not prove, it anyone has seen any other sites with this data 
drop a note. 

Or any thoughts on it.
