Hey Chile Heads, Any one have a good recipe for making corned beef? I mean like from scratch. I plan on trying to corn/pickle a chunk of beef using the standard recipe except for the addition of dried hot chilies. If this works I'll move on to bigger and better things. Mastodon, herds of oxen, flocks of emu. Oinks of pig. Megalomania is my middle name. Anyone tried corned beef or pork on the smoker? This sounds interesting. I can see it all now. A dark cloud of wood smoke rises around the world occulting the sun. The barbecue god is manifest. The beer god ain't far behind. The corning of flesh becomes rampant.
