   All of this talk about botulism reveals that few know that the damage to 
homo sap is caused by a TOXIN generated by the botulinum bacteria. Heating 
the toxin in the microwave ain't gonna cut it. Best
solution is THROW IT OUT. Make the oil/garlic/pepper mix in a small batch 
and do not try to save any leftovers. Five cents worth of oil is not worth 
dying for.
