RE:
I've heard, and seen, that planting tomatoes or peppers over and over again
in the same area eventually makes that bed unuseable for planting tomatoes
or peppers again in that soil after a few years.

WHAT YOU DESCRIBE IS THE TYPICAL RESULT OF "CHEMICAL" GARDENING. EVER HEARD
OF FARMLAND THAT'S USELESS, AND SAID TO BE "FARMED OUT"? USING SOLUBLE
CHEMICAL FERTILIZERS AND PESTICIDES WILL EVENTUALLY FILL YOUR SOIL WITH THE
SALTS OF THOSE FERTILIZERS, AND IN COMBINATION WITH TOXIC PESTICIDES WILL
RENDER THE SOIL STERILE OF BENEFICIALS LIKE EARTHWORMS AND MICROBES THAT
PARTICITATE IN FEEDING YOUR PLANTS. IF YOU'RE USING ORGANIC COMPOST, HUMUS,
SUGAR (BEST AS DRY MOLASSES), LIQUID FISH & SEAWEED AND START WITH GOOD
SOIL, IT WILL PRODUCE FOREVER. IF INTERESTED IN MORE INFORMATION ON ORGANIC
METHODS, EMAIL ME PRIVATELY.
