David, these look suspiciously identical to Bolivian Rainbow cultivar or possibly "Brazilian Rainbow" I think they are the same species actually.... This is a cultivar of C. Chinense and does very well in terms of saving seeds. If that is what you have then that is what you can do with them, (other than eating them), and help preserve the seed :). He told me you can grow these in a pot very well too.
