Dear Chile Heads
I have been a lurker for a while - found myself unsubscribed a few times because of server problems but have now got myself a new email address and am trying again.
Only trouble is - the size of my mail box is limited; my hard disk isn't that huge either.
The size of the Digests is daunting, particularly if you like to keep them for future reference, and there is so much useful stuff being posted (apart from some temper tantrums of course) that I hate to delete any.
Seems to me (very humble opinion) that the main problem is the size of many of the sigs. These are often longer than the message itself, and when they are posted several times in one digest, things get out of hand.
Mosts lists I know restrict sig size, but not this one it seems?
Couldn't you take pity on those of us who are space-challenged, and cut down on your clever ASCI pictures, your philosophy of life (wears a bit thin the 50'th time), your numerous addresses, tel. no's personal info and web-sites and just let us have the useful chile posts.
Or at least add your full sig in all its glory only once a month or so?
