Interesting thought but how does that explain the bottles of Spiedie 
Sauce I can buy here in Allentown, PA? (much south of 
Bimghamton)
I first heard about speides at a craft fair in downtown Binghamton 
(what a bust) and after seeing every food vendor selling them, I had 
to try one. They didn't impress me enough to consider buying the 
sauce. Maybe that is why they don't want us to have the recipe. It 
must be an aquired taste.
