Well, just when I'd beaten the flea beetles... Went out today to water, and saw a serious infestation on my Betony - bugs all over the flowers (two plants; two locations). They also seemed to like the peppers (but may have just been resting there). Looked them up in my Rodale's insect guide - they're the Negro Bug (Corimelaena pulicaria). No treatment is listed. I tried a Rotenone/Pyrethrum mixture and they just laughed in my face. Can anyone suggest a quick (and organic) way to get rid of these things?????? The peppers are just starting to produce - I have hundreds and hundreds, some already quite hot (though still green - all but one thai hot - yow!!!) - and got my first habby today! Mmmmmmmmm. I certainly would appreciate any help! TIA, Robert.
