I've been interested in making some homemade chile powder and the coffe grinder discussion has been a big help, but can someone provide me with more info on the drying process. Is a dehydrator a must have or are there alternatives? On a side note I'm a little confused I bought a couple 6 packs of hab seedlings from a local garden center and now that they are actually producing they are really strange looking habs really long and greenish-yellow kind of like bannana peppers - must be a new type of hab maybe from the family "mis-labeled" Thanks- KenZ
