Dear Cynthia and C-Heads, Rockin' Randy and I met for lunch at the Mexican Connexion (sic) in beautiful downtown Edgewater, Florida. Once again, the waitresses displayed an "Oh, my God" expression when we began spreading our goodies out on the table (this happens every time...havent they ever seen 20 bottles of hot sauce on a customer's table?). Randy had brought a bottle of ass-kicking "Ralph's" habanero sauce and a shaker of Calvin's mixed powder (help me out, Randy!). I brought an assortment of things which I'd just brought back from California, including Tabasco habanero sauce, Indonesian sambal lampung (a sweetish hot sauce...like chile-garlic), and I had to pry Randy's fingers off my Mezzetta olives in habanero sauce....he just wouldn't let go of those hot suckers! We polished off two bowls full of chips and salsa (hottened to our taste, of course), an order of (I thought) mild jalapeno poppers which we had to kick up quite a few notches, and we had a delicious meal of chiles rellenos and the largest beef and beans burrito I've ever seen! It must have weighed two pounds. Randy took home enough for two more meals...I had no trouble eating both my supper and today's breakfast right there at the lunch table! All in all, a very successful event! And always great to see the Rocker from Atlanta-GA! Thanks for asking, Cynthia!
