I ordered an Excalibur 2900 last night for the sole purpose of drying chile peppers. I already have an American Harvester Snackmaster that I have had for a few years. I'll be using 8 trays in the Snackmaster this year. With over 600 chile plants I will be putting both through some serious rigors. I'll rate them fairly and post the results. (A month or so til it starts) Also, there is an ICS sanctioned Chili Cook-Off near Lock Haven PA on July 31. It's a short drive from Williamsport. If anyone would like furthur details, let me know.
