The weather sure is hitting with a killer one-two punch. Lots of watering and the partial shade in their location is keeping the chiles alive, but has limited fruit set severely. What looked like a bumper crop of paprika has been cut down to less than a dozen fruit on 6 plants. The rocotos are not happy. The habs are content enough to grow, but they aren't setting much fruit. The only plants that don't seem to care are the Keriting-type and the chacoense. They are flowering/fruiting like crazy. I've lost over a dozen assorted peppers to some kind of rot/necrosis on the fruit. It shows up on the side and spreads the length of the pepper if I don't find and remove the affected fruit. It isn't blossom-end rot, and I don't think it's sunscald since it happens on some that are well shaded by the leaves. The patch turns light brown/grey, then gets dark and looks like the flesh has rotted away leaving the skin intact. Scott... KCK
